You’ve Got Questions - I’ve Got Answers

Below you will find some frequently asked questions I receive from many of my clients. I have tried to answer all of your questions and concerns however if you still can’t find what you’re looking for, please send use the chat feature on the bottom right corner and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

What Makes Cosmetics & Eyebrows Atelier Awesome and Different?

My studio specializes in services specifically for the EYEBROWS. All eyebrow treatments include consultation, cleaning, and applying aftercare products as well as cosmetics to enhance the appearance of your brows. You will also have the opportunity to purchase the same products I used on you so you can work to achieve the same results at home. There are additional services offered for threading or waxing on the entire face. 

Clients schedule their own appointments so all your information is stored on my system in preparation of your service. 

Do You Have a Referral System?

For every 3 people that you refer that happen to turn into loyal clients, we will reward you with a gift. Gifts are either a complimentary service or cosmetic products.

When you love your service, you tell everyone. By referring me to others you're sharing my passion for helping you achieve #BROWGOALS and rewards come with that.

May I Bring a Friend or My Child With Me?
Can I bring food or a drink?

NO and NO.

NO client guests or children are allowed. Due to both safety and the small space of the suite, only the service provider and the client are allowed inside Cosmetics & Eyebrows Atelier. PLEASE DO NOT BRING FOOD OR BEVERAGES WITH YOU. This is a sterile and clean environment. Food and drinks are not allowed. 

 

If you bring a guest, the guest can either sit in the 2 designated areas located at the front entrance of Heaven on Earth Salon Suites or in the back of the building near the restrooms. If your guest insists on sitting with you during your appointment, the services will be canceled immediately. You will then have to reschedule your appointment online where you will also have to submit another non-refundable service deposit.

If you bring food or a drink with you, you will be asked to remove it or the appointment will be canceled. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

Simply, please DO NOT bring any guests with you and eat or drink your beverages prior to arriving.

Which Payment Methods Do Cosmetics and Eyebrows Atelier Accept?

I accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. When pre-booking appointments a valid credit/debit card MUST BE ON FILE. Any rejected payments or insufficient funds will result in you having to pre-pay in cash only on WALK-IN WEDNESDAY. Please be sure you have the funds available. I do not accept other forms of payment. 
If you leave the studio and you owe a balance for the services completed you will be sent an invoice and contacted by text, email and phone to pay what is due. If you don’t respond and payment is NOT received by the end of the day, your credit or debit card on file will be CHARGED FOR THE AMOUNT DUE. If your card is declined, the amount will be escalated to the authorities. Please simply pay the remaining amount.

Any CHARGEBACKS for COMPLETED SERVICES or PRODUCTS you purchased will be disputed. Proof of the appointment you booked or the product you purchased and payment received for the service and/or the products will be sent to redeem funds.

After services have been completed you will be checked out using SquareUP Invoices. Invoice fees are 3.3% + 30¢ for swipes or taps. If your card has to be manually entered, the processing fee is 3.5% + 15¢ If you do not wish to pay processing fees please bring THE EXACT AMOUNT IN CASH. I do not carry cash so please be prepared.

The processing fee I have rounded to 3.3% which is what you will be charged for each service sales transaction.

Product sales are taxed to 8% which is required by law in the state of Illinois.

What's Up With the Non-Refundable Deposits?

All appointments have a non-refundable deposit when YOU, the client make the appointment. This deposit is a portion of your service cost. Deposits go towards your service, the products, tools, space being used, and the time set aside for you and the service provider. The deposit is also if you cancel or do not show up for your appointment.


Please be kind and respectful by avoiding no-shows and cancellations.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

All cancellations must be done 48 hours before your appointment. By canceling 48 hours in advance you will have the option to re-book immediately if a slot is available. Reschedules are counted as cancellations. Become a MEMBER OF THE WEBSITE to reschedule or cancel any appointment within 48 hours. 


If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours or less prior to your appointment, your card on file will be charged. If you do a no-show, your card on file will be charged. If you cancel or reschedule more than 3 times, you may not book another appointment for 3 months. When you cancel or reschedule 3 times, that time reserved for your appointment included setup, materials, and anticipating your full-service eyebrow treatment. Please be kind and respectful by keeping your scheduled appointment times. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this policy. 

What If You're Running Late?

Arriving late to your appointment will be $5 after 10 minutes you are late. If you are late more than 10 minutes, it will be $5 every 5 minutes. After 20 minutes, your appointment will be canceled and you will need to reschedule and pay another non-refundable deposit. 

When you arrive late, that is the time being taken away from your full-service eyebrow appointment. Eyebrow Extensions is a 1.5+ hour service and cannot be rushed. "Brow Lamination" is the second-longest service followed. All treatments come with a wash and style so it takes time.

 

Please avoid being tardy by arriving 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time and waiting in the front lobby. Please do not wait outside of the door in the hallway. 

If I am running behind with a client it may be for several reasons. You can continue to wait, choose to reschedule and I will apply your deposit to another time or day, or I will cancel your appointment and refund your deposit. 

Appointment Arrival Protocol

When you arrive for your appointment please sit in the front waiting area. Send a text to (224) 306-2143 alerting me of your arrival and I will text or walk up the front to get you for your appointment. DO NOT WAIT OUTSIDE MY SUITE DOOR. The hallway is narrow and other clients need to walk to the restroom or to their service providers.

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT. There may be a client already being serviced or I may not be available. Simply arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time. If your appointment is canceled by me on the day of, you will be alerted an hour or more beforehand. Cancellations rarely occur, but when the weather doesn't permit safe driving or something personal arises, I will alert everyone of the cancellations. 

Are You Taking Health & Safety Precautions for  COVID-19 and COVID  VARIANTS?

Yes and most definitely! Pre-screening is required for every client. Masks are NO LONGER REQUIRED. However, if you are sneezing, have nasal drainage, or coughing, please cancel the appointment. If you do not, it will be canceled upon arrival. The deposit can be transferred to another appointment when you are feeling better.

 

I will always wear a mask when you are in the atelier.

Please do not come to my brow studio if you have been exposed to someone with COVID symptoms or have tested positive for COVID. Cancel your appointment if you have symptoms such as coughing, nausea, loose stools, nasal drainage, chest pains, throat pains, body aches, or more associated with COVID and the VARIANTS.

If you do not cancel the appointment, it will be canceled for you.

Can I Get an Eyebrow Service Not Listed on the Menu?

Definitely. When developing the service menu, I thought of the top eyebrow services people want but also included services that everyone needs. If you want to try something different, go ahead and ask and I will price it for you then add it to my service menu.

Please note, there is no body waxing nor extraction facials done at my studio. There is also no hair removal on any part of the body. Hair can only be removed from the neck up. I can recommend you to an esthetician that is also located inside Heaven on Earth Salon Suites where my studio is. 

Product Shipping

Products that are fulfilled by Cosmetics & Eyebrows Atelier have a flat rate shipping cost of $5.99 which is standard shipping. Products are mailed within 1 - 2 days and will arrive within 5 business days or sooner. You will receive a tracking number to keep an eye out for it. 

If you order less than 4 items, they will arrive in the standard USPS mailing packaging to ensure the privacy and safety of your items. If you order 5 or more items, they will be mailed in 5x5 cardboard box packaging in the standard color. The shipping packages were chosen for privacy and those with sticky fingers will not be tempted to take your items.

What Is An Affiliate Link?

Affiliate links are tracking links that the brand owner provides businesses and influencers that tell them that I sent you to their website. Therefore, when you click on the image and/or my affiliate link it will take you to that brand's website. When you complete a purchase, I'll receive a small commission. The commission is used to operate my business and purchase products featured in my "EYEBROWS CHAT" series on IGTV.
