You’ve Got Questions - I’ve Got Answers

Below you will find some frequently asked questions I receive from many of my clients. I have tried to answer all of your questions and concerns however if you still can’t find what you’re looking for, please send use the chat feature on the bottom right corner and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

What Makes Cosmetics & Eyebrows Atelier Awesome and Different?

My studio specializes exclusively in eyebrow-focused services and natural-based facials without extractions. Every eyebrow treatment includes a thorough consultation, cleansing, aftercare application, and cosmetic enhancement to elevate the overall look of your brows.

Clients also have the opportunity to purchase the same professional-grade products used during their service, empowering you to maintain and recreate your results at home.

In addition to brow services, I offer full-face threading and waxing as optional add-ons.

Appointments are self-scheduled online, ensuring all your information is securely stored in the system and ready ahead of your visit.

Referral Program

For every 3 people that you refer that happen to turn into loyal clients, we will reward you with a gift. Gifts are either a complimentary service or cosmetic products.

When you love your service, you tell everyone. By referring me to others you're sharing my passion for helping you achieve #BROWGOALS & #SKINGOALS, and rewards come with that.

No Guest, No Food & No Drinks

NO and NO.

NO client guests or children are allowed. Due to both safety and the small space of the suite, only the service provider and the client are allowed inside Cosmetics & Eyebrows Atelier. PLEASE DO NOT BRING FOOD OR BEVERAGES WITH YOU. This is a sterile and clean environment. Food and drinks are not allowed. 

 

If you bring a guest, the guest can either sit in the 2 designated areas located at the front entrance of Heaven on Earth Salon Suites or in the back of the building near the restrooms. If your guest insists on sitting with you during your appointment, the services will be canceled immediately. You will then have to reschedule your appointment online where you will also have to submit another non-refundable service deposit.

If you bring food or a drink with you, you will be asked to remove it or the appointment will be canceled. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

Simply, please DO NOT bring any guests with you and eat or drink your beverages prior to arriving.

Payment Policy – Please Read Carefully

Cosmetics & Eyebrows Atelier accepts cash, credit cards, and debit cards only. When pre-booking an appointment, a valid credit or debit card is REQUIRED to remain on file.

If a payment is declined due to insufficient funds or other issues, you will be required to pre-pay in cash only on Walk-In Wednesday. Please ensure your payment method is valid and that funds are available.

No other forms of payment are accepted.

If you leave the studio with a remaining balance for services rendered, you will receive an invoice and be contacted via text, email, and phone. If payment is not received by the end of the business day, the card on file will be charged for the full amount due.

If your card is declined, the balance will be escalated to the appropriate authorities. Please avoid this by simply paying any outstanding amount promptly.

Chargebacks for completed services or purchased products will be disputed. All services are recorded and photographed for documentation purposes, including proof of completion and payment.

Non-Refundable Deposits

All appointments have a non-refundable deposit when YOU, the client make the appointment. This deposit is a portion of your service cost. Deposits go towards your service, the products, tools, space being used, and the time set aside for you and the service provider. The deposit is also if you cancel or do not show up for your appointment.


Please be kind and respectful by avoiding no-shows and cancellations.

Cancellation & Reschedule Policy

All cancellations must be done 48 hours before your appointment. By canceling 48 hours in advance, you can re-book immediately if a slot is available. Reschedules are counted as cancellations. Become a MEMBER OF THE WEBSITE to reschedule or cancel any appointment within 48 hours. 


If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours or less before your appointment, your card on file will be charged. If you do a no-show, your card on file will be charged. If you cancel or reschedule more than 3 times, you will need to submit a new deposit for another time and date or come as a walk-in. When you cancel or reschedule 3 times, that time reserved for your appointment includes setup, materials, and anticipating your full-service eyebrow treatment. Please be kind and respectful by keeping your scheduled appointment times. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this policy. 

Late Policy

Arriving late to your appointment will be $5 after 10 minutes you are late. If you are late more than 10 minutes, it will be $5 every 5 minutes. After 20 minutes, your appointment will be canceled, and you will need to reschedule and pay another non-refundable deposit. 

When you arrive late, that is the time being taken away from your full-service eyebrow appointment. Brow Lamination is an hour and 15-minute service and cannot be rushed. Henna Brows Stain is the second-longest service followed. All treatments come with a wash and style, so it takes time.

 

Please avoid being tardy by arriving 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time and waiting in the front lobby. Please do not wait outside my door. The hallway is meant for walking traffic, not standing. 

If I am running behind with a client, it may be for several reasons. You can continue to wait, choose to reschedule, and I will apply your deposit to another time or day, or I will cancel your appointment and refund your deposit. 

Appointment Arrival Protocol

When you arrive for your appointment, please sit in the front waiting area. Send a text to (224) 306-2143 alerting me of your arrival and I will text or walk up the front to come get you. DO NOT WAIT OUTSIDE MY SUITE DOOR. The hallway is narrow, and other clients need to walk to the restroom or their service providers.

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT. There may be a client already being serviced, or I may not be available. Simply arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time, and have a seat in the front waiting area.

If your appointment is canceled by me on the day of, you will be alerted an hour or more beforehand. Cancellations rarely occur, but when the weather doesn't permit safe driving or something personal arises, I will alert everyone to the cancellations. 

Health & Safety Policy

For the safety of everyone, pre-screening is required for all clients.

While masks are no longer mandatory, if you are sneezing, experiencing nasal drainage, or coughing, please cancel your appointment. If you arrive showing these symptoms, your appointment will be canceled on the spot, and your deposit will be kept due to ignoring the policy.

For your protection and peace of mind, I will continue to wear a mask during your entire visit.

Please do not come to the studio if you have recently been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or are experiencing any of the following symptoms:

  • Coughing

  • Nausea

  • Diarrhea

  • Nasal drainage

  • Chest or throat pain

  • Body aches

  • Or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 or its variants

Can I Get a Service Not Listed on the Menu?

Definitely. When developing the service menu, I thought of the top eyebrow and skin services people want but also included services that everyone needs. If you want to try something different, go ahead and ask and I will price it for you then add it to my service menu.

Please note, there is no body waxing nor extraction facials done at my studio. Hair can only be removed from the neck up. I recommend that you search for an esthetician who is capable of waxing from the neck down. 

Product Shipping & Packaging

All products fulfilled by Cosmetics & Eyebrows Atelier are shipped at a flat rate of $5.99 using standard shipping. Orders are processed and mailed within 1–2 business days and typically arrive within 5 business days or sooner. A tracking number will be provided so you can monitor your delivery every step of the way.

To support our sustainability efforts, all items are packaged in plain cardboard boxes in a neutral color. This packaging was also intentionally selected to ensure privacy and discretion, helping to protect your order from unwanted attention during transit.

Open Door Policy & Privacy

Please Note:
Cosmetics & Eyebrows Atelier is located within a professional salon suite building that houses 21 individually operated suites. Each service provider operates independently and is not permitted to approach clients who are not scheduled with them. However, if a suite door is open, any client is allowed to respectfully knock and inquire about services.

At Cosmetics & Eyebrows Atelier LLC, I operate with an open-door policy. This means my suite door remains open—clients may be picking up products, someone might have a question, or individuals may wish to observe the services being performed. The door is only closed during facials or in situations where a client requires privacy for religious reasons.

If you require complete privacy during your appointment and are uncomfortable with an open-door setting, Cosmetics & Eyebrows Atelier may not be the right fit for you. Please consider this before booking.
